The bracket is very sturdy, but I did require the adaptor. I was suprised at how quickly the staff sorted this out for me....

I am not a DIY guru at all, but the wall mount took a matter of minutes to fit to the wall and attaching the TV was a doddle. Given how simple this mount made it to fix the TV...
